FFG FEMtech Praktika

This FFG scheme supports female students (BSc or MSc) registered at an Austrian higher-education institution, to undertake an internship (1-6M) at another Austrian institution. The student must have already initiated their studies (at least 1 semester completed), and not have been active at the host institution in the 6M prior to the planned start of the internship.

There are usually two call windows per year: spring and autumn. Although deadlines apply, calls may be prematurely closed if funds are run out (first come-first served basis). In that regard, we highly recommend to submit the application as soon as the call opens.

For further information or if you are interested in applying, please consult the FFG FEMtech Praktika website and us .

ISTternships

The summer internship funded by ISTA (in cooperation with the OeAD) provides a monthly compensation for travel and subsistence costs among other benefits (up to 3 months), for BSc and MSc students wishing to “expand their scientific research experience” in any of/across the disciplines at ISTA.

The application deadline is in February every year.

Check out the ISTernship page of the ISTA Graduate School for further details and up-to-date information regarding calls and deadlines.
